Outdoor Education Staff
Each year, Camp Roger hires a group of Outdoor Education Day Staff to support the year-round program. We’re always interested in adding folds to our on-call list of ropes course facilitators and Discovery Nature Center teachers during the fall, winter, and spring. You may apply early for 2017 Summer Camp by reviewing the community covenant and completing the online application and reference forms (see below). View the salary information for 2017 and review the Summer Camp sessions for timeline. Resident Camp Staff Orientation begins on May 30 with Staff Commissioning on Sunday, June 11. Day Camp Staff Orientation will begin at the commissioning service on Sunday, June 11.

To apply for a summer staff position, we need to receive a completed application by you as well as a reference form completed by you about yourself. We will also need to have 3 other reference forms turned in completed by others who know you well. (i.e. past employer, church mentor, etc.)
Each year, we recruit up to four people to serve in a 9 month position to live and work at Camp Roger. This position would be heavily involved in Outdoor Education program, retreat and site responsibilities, and many more opportunities throughout their time at camp. Our year-round leadership team provides on-going support and staffing to the vital programs of Camp Roger. There are currently no open positions.
