GO Day: Adventure Kids (ages 6-14)

Adventure Kids engage in a variety of fun, hands-on activities to develop outdoor skills, self-confidence, and a greater understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them.

Join us for Friday Adventures or Focused Adventures…or both!

Friday Adventures (ages 6-12) take place every Friday throughout a month getting your child outside, moving, and having fun with other students. Is your child having a lot of daily computer time? Try a Friday Adventure package! Examples of GO Day activities may include adventure course, archery, team building skills, orienteering, or survival skills.

Focused Adventures (ages 6-14) are special one-day options that have a focused topic for the day. Our educational staff teach on a theme including wetlands, water cycles, survival skills, or orienteering. Whether supplemental education or simply an area of student interest, our Focused Adventures help form the hearts and minds of students to better love and understand unique parts of God’s wonderful world.

Registration opens on August 11 at 8:00 am!

September 10 – “Creative Problem Solving”

Camp Roger, 8356 Belding Road, Rockford

Guides students through a series of fun, hands-on challenges where qualities of teamwork, good communication skills, creativity, and ingenuity are fostered in order to develop effective solutions to various challenges.
“Are you able to drop an egg 40 feet without breaking it?”
“Using only gravity and things you find in the woods, can you get a tennis ball to end up in a bucket that is 100 feet away?”
“Can you put together a jigsaw puzzle that’s the size of your bedroom?”
Whether we succeed at all of these challenges or not, we hope to learn life-long skills of being resolute and joyful as we go about seeking creative solutions to life’s various problems.
