Summer Camp Positions
Every year during the summer months, children encounter and celebrate God’s love through experiences in creation. Our summer camp staff are caretakers, guides, lifeguards, teachers, motivators, safety nets, and spiritual leaders; they’re the hands and feet of our ministry.
To apply for a summer staff position, we need to receive a completed application by you, a reference form completed by you about yourself, and 3 other reference forms turned in completed by others who know you well. (i.e. past employer, mentor, professor, etc.)
**If you are applying for a counselor position, PLEASE keep Saturday, March 3 available for the second round interview which will be held at Camp Roger with the other prospective candidates.
Overnight Camp provides a fully immersive outdoor experience for kids 1st-12th grade. Counselors challenge campers to grow in responsibility, decision-making, and faith while having a blast spending time in God’s creation.
Day Camp is our newest program, a ministry at our Camp Scottie campus that welcomes K-5th graders. Day Camp counselors lead young campers, some away from home for the first time, to celebrate God’s love for them in community and outdoor exploration.
Camp Roger support staff work with campers in a variety of different roles, helping support our counseling staff and making sure summer camp runs smoothly and safely. Some roles interact with campers regularly, while others are more “behind the scenes.”
