If for some reason your child cannot attend camp, please contact the registrar at [email protected]. We have modified our 2020 cancellation policy, removing the 14-day window typically required to receive a refund. Effective May 15, you may choose to cancel your registration at any time and we will waive the $25 cancellation fee. Any payment that you’ve made toward the session will be refunded back to your credit card. Processing refunds for cash or check payments will take longer to refund.
If Camp Roger is required to cancel a camp session due to the COVID-19 crisis, we will notify you by email. The administrative fee will be waived, and we will ask you to consider one of the following options: donate a portion of your payment toward the ministry of Camp Roger/Camp Scottie, reschedule your child for a later 2020 session, apply your registration fee as a credit toward a 2021 summer camp experience or request a full refund.
Camp Roger has an online Health History form available through our online registration system. The Health History form will be available beginning in May so that you can submit the most current information about your child. All forms must be completed prior to your child’s arrival at camp.
If you did not register your child online and used a paper form instead, you can still submit your child’s Health History form online. Contact our office at 616-874-7286 for assistance with accessing your account.
To return to your online registration account, click on any “Register Your Camper” button on our website and log in. If you are unable to complete the online form, please call the office for assistance or to request a paper form.
Deposits are required for each camp session: $40 for Day Camp, and $100 for Overnight Camp and Wilderness Trips. Session fees must be paid in full by the first day of the session. To save time, you may pay prior to arrival by using the Return to Pay option found in the online registration system, by calling the camp office with a credit card, or by mailing a check payable to Camp Roger.
Yes, this is called the Sibling Discount. If a family has more than one child registered to attend a summer camp program, each additional child (beyond the first registered child) is eligible for one $20 sibling discount. Sibling discount is not available for Day Camp.
Camp Store deposits for 4-day and 8-day overnight camp sessions can be made prior to coming to camp. You can save time on opening day by paying this with your initial deposit payment, when paying the balance online, or by calling the office to make a payment. You may also deposit Camp Store money at check-in on opening day.
Camp Store deposits cover the costs of candy, postage, church collection, etc. Any unspent money will be available for refund or you may choose to donate it to The Acorn Fund. Sweatshirts, tshirts, and other Camp Roger merchandise are available for purchase on the first and last days of each session. Money may not be kept in cabins.
There is no Camp Store deposit for Day Camp or Wilderness Trips.
