Homeschool FAQ
My child's age qualifies for two programs, how do I decide between them?
Camp Roger is deliberate about creating a progression between program types and hopes your student will benefit from multiple years in each age group. The overlap between ages within some programs allows flexibility when deciding the appropriate group for your child. First, consider the academic level that is the best fit for your child and then match that to a corresponding program.
What if my preferred program day is full? Is there a waitlist?
If your student's desired program day is FULL, we do maintain waitlists for each class. There is NO fee to be added to the waitlist, but you must secure your spot through the online registration system.
We do encourage you to consider registering for an alternate program day if possible. As openings become available, we will contact waitlisted students in the order they were added.

Can I register with a friend, sibling, or group?
When registering, you may request that your child be grouped with a friend or sibling within a two-year age range. Elementary groups are by age and typically follow ranges such as ages 6-8, ages 8-10, and ages 10-12. This may affect some friends or siblings being together, but we have found this to be best for the learning experience of the students. There are opportunities for students to connect with other groups during morning break, lunch, group activities, etc.
Groups are created in September prior to the start of the program. Requests for friend or group changes will not be accepted after the first class.

What if I need to switch our scheduled sessions or cancel our registration?
Prior to the program start date, you can request to switch your scheduled sessions or cancel your child’s registration by calling our camp office or emailing our registrar at krista@camproger.org. Prompt notification is appreciated and may allow for another student to register. Sessions can be switched at no cost as openings allow. A $15 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations, and the remainder of your payment will be refunded with adequate notice.
Registrations are non-transferable. After the program begins, no refunds will be granted.
